Pousada Aconchego is one of the last refuge in Praia da Pipa. Our goal is to create a distinctive atmosphere from the natural development of the village.
Our main characteristic is to receive each traveler with special care, giving him information and exchanging ideas in a relaxed ambiance which will make him feel at home in this little place of North-Eastern Brazil.
Five chalets are arranged in a 1000m2 area within a tropical garden located 50m from the main street and only 100m from Pipa's central beach. Each chalet has one double bed and one single bed with ceiling fan, a private bathroom with hot shower, a little terrace with a hammock and a parking area.
n the morning we serve a delicious breakfast including fresh fruit juice and fruits. At night our guests have open access to the kitchen in order to prepare their own appetizers, meals, etc...
Itacoatiara was the first Indian name given to the village now called Pipa.Fishing and black algae harvesting were the village's first sources of income. Today both the locals and the tourists' lives are rhythmed by the tide when they can stroll on the beautiful coloured bays flanked by the cliffs (Falésias).
In some protected bays, you can swim and enjoy the presence of dolphins and in others you can learn or practice sports like surfing, kitesurfing, paraglide, etc. Tibau do Sul is located 6 km north of Pipa.
With its exuberant nature, the lagoon sunset constitutes its main attraction although you can also enjoy kayaking during the day.One of the best places for kitesurf is located 18km to the south, in Barra de Cunhaú. Route to this place is also enjoyable for cyclists who'll admire the beautiful spots created by the cliffs. The struggle for nature preservation, the creation of a 220ha protected area, sports incentive for children and adolescents, cultural events like Gastronomic and Literary Festivals rank Pipa amongst the 65 best touristic destinations in Brazil.
